Description: The very first release from The Roseisle distillery in Speyside. This malt comes from carefully chosen first fill ex-bourbon and refill casks in which a wide variety of aromas and flavours are integrated. Rich palette of aromas opens with dark plum, light sweetness of vanilla, a touch of molasses and some cereal with fruity and nutty notes. Hints of ripe peach and white chocolate lie beneath. Roseisle 12 years old single malt is smoothly creamy in texture and sweet to taste, with vanilla icing, before a spicier complexity brings balancing richness. There are more notes of vanilla midpalate, soaring above a deep fruitiness, and the sweetness lasts throughout. Long, finishing richly sweet and lightly spicy, with a touch of white pepper. Roseisle single malt label was inspired by the traditional Japanese techniques, including hand-made washi paper, suminagashi ink marbling, and sumi-e painting.
