Description: Masseria Altemura is located in Italy, in one of the best viticultural terroirs - in the heart of the Salento peninsula, equidistant from the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. Grapes grow in calcareous soil and are exposed to windy currents and sea salinity as they grow. Sasseo Primitivo Salento is a full-bodied and intense red wine made from 100% Primitivo grapes. Hints of plums, red berry jam and sweet spices in the aroma. The taste has a warm and soft character, ripe berries and complex sweet tannins.
