Taste: Fresh on the palate, supple and round. A lively and structured wine, the tannins are present but coated. The finish is acidulous.

Description: The Burgundy Pinot Noir comes mainly from three French departments: Yonne, Côte d'Or and Saône-et-Loire. The Pinot Noir grape variety is the basis of all red Burgundy appellations, from the most modest to the most prestigious. This is our interpretation of the Pinot Noir ”, where the style dominates over the expression of the terroir. Maison Champy is the oldest wine company in Burgundy boasting a history dating back to 1720. The winery, which has been declared a historic monument by UNESCO, was designed by the famed architect, Gustave Eiffel and sits above an ancient 15th-century Jacobin monk cellar, where the wines are aged in the heart of Beaune.
